Living Without Abuse (LWA) believes that all people have the right to live safely and without fear of violence and abuse. On this site we offer information and advice to anyone experiencing domestic abuse and/or sexual violence. We can also provide support services to anyone living in Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland. We are committed to raising awareness of domestic abuse and sexual violence, working towards its prevention and eradication, and assisting those affected by this crime to determine their own lives.

Tickets are selling fast for the our Burns Night Fundraiser on Saturday 25th January 2025 at Woodhouse Eaves Village Hall near Loughborough. Join LWA for a sumptuous supper with live bagpiping plus neeps, tatties and haggis galore. A fun evening of Scottish tradition, including a wee dram thrown in for good measure. At £37.50 per head this is something not to be missed.
Along with the traditional Ode Tae A Haggis, a rendition of Tam O’Shanter and the traditional Toasts Tae the Bard of Ayr and to the Lassies, guests should come along if for no other reason than to hear piper Bill who has been piping in military tattoos and prestigious events across Europe for over 45 years.
